James 1:5 Faith and Wisdom.
God gives wisdom to everyone who asks Him. He gives it generously. He doesn’t think any less of us for asking. In fact, He loves it when we come to Him with our concerns. But, we have to ask for wisdom to get it. By faith we believe that God is and he is able. However, it seems that over time our level of faith has changed, compared with when we first believed. Too many of us try to reason out problems to come up with our own solutions. When we fail we turn to God as a last resort, e.g. the woman with the issue of blood.

God tells us in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” We do not always have solutions to all our problems but with God all things are possible – without Him we can do nothing. If we call on Him by faith as soon as we encounter difficulties, He promises to give us His perspective on our situations. He can show us ways to deal with our trials that may never have occurred to us, after all His ways are higher than our ways.

My prayer is that God, the Father of us all, creator, healer, God of wisdom, would grant us knowledge, understanding and wisdom to know Him and the difference between right and wrong, faith to know that He is God, a rewarder of those who diligently serve him in Spirit and in truth. In these last days, I pray the Lord God pour out His Holy Spirit as He promised, and activate His power in us for service. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
