James 5:14-15
The question, Is any among you sick? is intended for the faithful, humble believer. If he then is not humble or of faith how can he call? Scripture tells us to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God and he will lift us up. If he is sick, he by faith should request that the elders of the church pray over him. Scripture instructs that he is the one who should call for prayer and be anointed in the name of the Lord. A call of faith leads to the prayer of faith, and the prayer of faith saves the sick.

The Centurion called Jesus by faith, Jesus marveled at his faith. He answered that call and the Centurion’s servant was healed that same hour. The Lord Jesus raised him up and if he had committed sins they were forgiven him. Scripture tells us that faith is the substance, the substance is the remission of sins, healing, the raising up, forgiveness, deliverance, the breaking of burdens and of chains in Jesus’ name, Hallelujah!

Lord, Almighty God, in the name of Jesus, by Your sweet Holy Spirit I stand as the centurion stood by faith for everyone who is unwell, troubled or worried. May the anointing oils of heaven flow over them, healing, forgiving and delivering them, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
