Glory to God for His goodness and mercy to us, glory to God for peace, freedom protection, and defence, for healing and miracles, for making a way, for leading us by still waters and green pastures, for holding up our hands that the victory may be won, glory to God, He held the sun up in the sky for His people. Glory to God who raised the dead to life, who keeps and defends with His rod and staff, who comforts us in our distress, and fights our battles for us.

Glory to God who wants to take our burdens because He cares for us, God who calls His inheritance, His heritage, His people, His portion and righteousness, God our provider, our strength, creator and maker. God who is our rock, the author and finisher of our faith, the lover of my soul, my God with whom Christ has purchased our peace.

I will lift up my hands and give Him praise, I will give him the sacrifice of my lips, and with songs of praise I will enter into His courts where we will always find help. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
