Believe
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (Jn 8:31-32). Sometimes in life people are not sure what to believe when confronted by similar-sounding information. But what is of concern, is this, many people fail to believe the truth of God’s Word. So, let’s be reminded of Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:11, “Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray.
There are so many doctrines and new theologies, a lot of fake stuff that sounds like the truth, but none are God’s truth. They are not from God. Misinformation is born of lies with the intent to deceive and destroy faith in God. Don’t be confused by it. Examine what you hear, listen closely to preached messages, and be clear about what you read in various media. See what the Bible Word of God says, believe God’s Word and pray. The Galatians were blessed to have the Apostle Paul clarify issues for them. They knew the truth but allowed themselves to be persuaded otherwise and were led astray. Do not accept any other gospel than that of the Lord Jesus Christ (see Gal 5:7-10).
Father God, of all truth, all that is good comes from You. There is none greater than You, O God. Your Word is truth and it shall not change. Father, I come to You through faith in the Lord Jesus who is the living truth. Father, let there be a Holy Ghost shaking in Your church. Cause the preaching of Your Word to come forth with Holy Ghost fire, to set free, to reach the poor, lonely, neglected, and discouraged. Cause, your people worldwide to gain knowledge of, believe, accept, and obey the truth of God. Hallelujah! Holy God, Bless, revive, and re-anoint Your disciples, so that people worldwide endure to the end and be saved (Mat 24:13). In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, and give thanks. Amen.
