God promises to answer prayer, His word says pray without ceasing. The prayer of a righteous person availeth much, prayer is a balm to the afflicted, prayer makes a way where there is no way. It was prayer that moved God to deliver Daniel out of the mouth of lions. Father, deliver us Your people from the hands of our enemy.

Prayer carries our complaint into the throne room of God. David prayed, “Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee” (Psalm 102:1). Prayer changes things and people. Jesus prayed as He hung on the cross it changed the heart of a crook. Paul and Silas prayed in the midnight hour, and the prison door shook. Hezekiah prayed with his face to the wall. We all must pray according to Luke 18:1.

I pray that a door of utterance would be opened unto us that no man can shut, I pray that the mysteries of God would be revealed to us. I pray that we will not be distracted by the troubles of this present time. Lord, God, I pray that our eyes will be fixed on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
