Inspired by Philippians 4:6
Life is filled with situations, deliberate plans and evil intended by the enemy to disrupt and vex our minds and take our peace, but note the relationship between the mind and peace. If we keep our minds stayed on Christ He will keep us in perfect peace. God is the God of peace and it is His peace that keeps us in times of difficulties. Human nature may dictate that it is hard to be carful for nothing when everything is falling apart around us or just plainly not working. But, the solution according to the scripture is prayer, supplication and thanksgiving. It has always been prayer, domestically requesting what we need from God.
When we pray, peace comes alongside the answer. Through Christ, peace keeps our hearts and minds beyond anything that we understand.
God has an abundant resource that we can access through prayers, and He will draw on those resources to provide for our needs. For example, the riches of His Grace, in it we have redemption (Eph 1:7). The riches of His Glory, to be strengthened by His Spirit in the inner man, (Eph 3:16). The riches of His goodness, the goodness of God never fails (Rom 2:4) and the goodness of God leads to repentance.
Father, I pray by the power of the Holy Spirit, let these blessings be upon us and in us, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
