The goodness and mercies of God was never an idea, neither was it intended to be ideology or the science of ideas. God’s goodness is actively, working, it is in action, documented in scriptures, is a recurring theme all over the Bible. It is evidenced and evident in God’s people.

God has demonstrated His goodness and mercy to the extent that David declared that God’s, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life (Psa 23:6). This, my brethren, is not ideology it is reality. The preserving, sustaining power of God has been proven throughout the ages, for and on behalf of those who serve Him. This is not an idea nor is it the science of ideas. When the believers say thank You Lord for Your goodness and mercy, that is what they have experienced of the Lord our God. That is a fact, an indisputable, undeniable fact. God is good. 

I want you to be convinced as the Apostle Paul was when he declared that nothing was able to separate him from the love of God (Rom 8:35-39). He found it to be strong, a compelling love, a redemptive love, a healing love, a delivering love. That is the goodness of God. 

My desire is that you would have your own experience of a good God, my Father. Amen.
