It is the presence of the transforming power of God in the life of any believer that brings about a change in that believer. Being transformed begins when a decision is made to accept and walk with Jesus Christ as Saviour and be filled with God’s Holy Spirit. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2Corinthians 5:17). That decision made to accept Christ with the mind affects the entire being.

We are instructed thus: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2). To be transformed means to change form completely. Our thinking is transformed from old, unrighteous ways of thinking to righteous godly ways of thinking. The Holy Spirit enables us to change as we submit ourselves to our God and Father.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for a change of mind, I pray that many would receive You today and be called Your sons and daughters, give us new hearts, remove our transgressions as far as the east is from the west and lead us in the path to transformation; lead us into all truth, wash us I pray, make us clean, restore to us all the joy of Your salvation by the blood of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit. Father, I give You glory, thanks and praise. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
