Father, we know that you fight for us, and give You thanks for the many battles fought and won on our behalf. For the many victories, where we stood firm and faced our enemies because You promised to be our strength. For the countless times You delivered us from accidents unscathed, miraculously removed us from the direct path of dangerous drivers, and sudden death. For covering us by Your Holy Spirit from the curse of lies and deception spoken against us by evil speakers, by workers of iniquity, we thank You, Lord.

Father, for the nights that Your angels kept watch, keeping death at bay while we slept, for protecting us from the arrows that fly by day… and the noisome pestilence. Thank You, Lord. For shielding us from fierce winds, fires and floods, thank You. 

When our loved ones passed, and our hearts were broken, You brought comfort and joy to our hearts and minds, thank You, Lord. For keeping us in Your perfect peace when our minds were troubled and there was no other person to listen, thank You, God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
