Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Matthew 6:19-21 KJVLite).

Father God, I pray for Your help to keep my mind focussed on You. Help me to keep my mind on heavenly things, on things of the spirit, to walk by faith, knowing that You will provide everything I need in this life. Father, Your Word says that wherever my treasure is, my heart will be in that same place. I pray for wisdom to make right choices, to discern between acquiring things that don’t last and seeking after eternal heavenly treasures. 

Today, I declare that I will “seek first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33 KJVLite) so all the things I need will be supplied to me. Father, I pray, as I make this declaration, Your Holy Spirit will guide me, so that my heart will always be on heavenly things. In Jesus’ name, I give You thanks. Amen.
