My Brethren, Greetings in Christ Jesus.
Scripture tells us in Psalm 66:18, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me” As children of God our utmost desire is for our God to hear us when we pray, but what if there is clear evidence that in certain circumstances such as there being the presence of sin in our  lives, God will neither hear nor will He answer us. Scripture tells us in Isaiah 59:2 that iniquities separated us from our God, and our sins have hid his face from us, that he will not hear.

Scripture provides clarity as to why prayers are not answered. But because of His deep love for us, God, who is merciful and forgiving, will forgive our sins when we say sorry and turn from our ways. God’s love for us is expressed thus, “…while we were yet sinners Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). I pray in Jesus’ name that as people of the most High God, we will embrace the love of God, in Jesus’ mighty name, and be the conquerors we are called to be through the love of God.

Father, I humbly pray, forgive me, turn Your face towards me and hear my prayers. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
