Lord and Father of heaven and earth, I ask that You protect our minds, bind up the entrance to our hearts in the name of Jesus Christ. “For to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace” (Rom 8:6 KJVLite). Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus, fortify us this day with blessings, long life, and peace, O God. Cause our minds to be stayed on You that we might commune with You in Spirit and truth, and with each other in love and peace. I pray for renewed minds, I pray for transformation of hearts, I pray for unity, for one body, I pray that Your people might be filled with a desire to follow Your perfect will. (Rom 12:2).

Help us by the power and authority of Your Holy Spirit to keep our thoughts, our minds, our affections on things above not on things on the earth. Father, hear my prayer in Jesus’ name. The things of this world, TV, media and social media games are a continuous distraction set by the enemy to tempt, entice, and destroy Your people. Father, strengthen us to resist the devil’s distractions that he will flee from us, break and cause the evil to cease and be pushed back, in Jesus’ name; rebuke the enemy and all the works of evil by the power and authority of Your Holy Word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
