Father, in Jesus’ name, I pray, give us the faith of the centurion, the persistence of the woman with the issue, the conversation of the woman at the well, the mercy given to blind Bartimaus, the healing of the leper who returned to give thanks, the wisdom of the five wise virgins who had oil in there lamps, the praise of Paul and Silas in the midnight hour, the endurance of Joseph to walk into his destiny, the Holy Spirit You gave at Pentecost to witness of You, the grace You gave to Paul in his time of weakness. Give us a desire like Zacchaeus to see You Lord Jesus. And give us the kindness of the good Samaritan.

Lord Jesus, hold our hands and lead us out like You led the blind man at Bethsaida, Give us the forgiveness, mercy and remembrace You showed to the thief on the cross, the repentant heart of the publican, a wise and understanding heart as You gave to Solomon. Trouble the waters, Lord, as You did for the man at the pool at Bethesda. May we be satisfied, Lord, with even the crumbs that fall from Your table, Lord, with which the Caananite woman would have been satisfied.

Father, in Jesus’ name, we thank You for the many blessings that You have bestowed on us; may we be steadfast, resolute, tenacious, hungry and thirsty for You in the face of being misrepresented, robbed, beaten, and imprisoned, for You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, we pray, and exalt Your holy name. Amen.
