In the glory of His presence we find strength, courage and peace. We are called out to follow Christ, to walk in the Spirit; to shine as lights among a wicked and perverse generation (Phil 2:15) to be the godly example for the world to follow. 1Peter 4:18 asks: And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

The Apostle Paul said “follow me as I follow Christ”. He was fully persuaded and had every confidence in Jesus Christ the son of God and that nothing can separate him from His love. Can we say the same? It is for me to ask myself and everyone else to do likewise. We have no alternative – if you believe that God is God, serve Him, follow His example.

We as individuals must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling (Phil 2:12) not being afraid of life’s exigencies but truly believe that Jehovah the God we serve is the only true and living God, the only wise God, through whom we have eternal life. “For whosover shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom 10:13 KJVLite).

But, how will they know about the name of the Lord and His word? Where will their faith come from? Romans 10:15 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Rom 10:15 KJVLite). It is incumbent upon all Christian believers along with preachers, teachers, and evangelists to tell the world about the Lord Jehovah – now, to speak the name of Jesus with confidence – now Call upon the name of the Lord – now, in Jesus’ name. All Glory be to God. Amen.
