There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. (Jhn 1:6 KJVLite). John was not that Light that came into the world, he was a witness of that Light, the true Light. The light that lighteth every man (Jhn 1:6-12) Jesus Christ the bringer of grace and truth, (Jhn 1:17). If you say Jesus is Lord of your life, there must be light in your life. Then “shine as lights in the world” (Phi 2:15) and the world will see your light and glorify the Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16).

Jesus said: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid (Mat 5:14 KJVLite). How do people see you: as a bright shining light or an opaque blurr without definition? If you do not shine, that Light is not in you and you will be swallowed up by the darkness of this world. Do not allow this to happen. Do not be deceived into thinking you can light this world without our Lord Jesus.

You can be the light of the world and shine like a city set on a hill if you allow Jesus who is the true Light to shine through you. Be a Witness of that Light, a Witness of the Lord Jesus. Do Not accept the darkness around you, let your light Shine brightly. Be the Light Where You Are. Every time You enter a room, a place/space or join a conversation, Shine and dispel the darkness. Speak God’s Word of Truth that sets hearts alight. Declare out loud: ‘I Am Not Ashamed!
