Jesus Is For You
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed (2Cor 48-9 KJVLite).
Brethren and friends, give all glory to the Lord our God for He has given us His son, Jesus Christ. He is the Christ, Saviour of the world. It is by the name Jesus, that we are saved. Acts 4:12 says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (KJV). It is this Jesus, the Son of God who promised to be with us always. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway even unto the end of the world” (Mat 28:20). Just as He spoke to His disciples, His Word speaks to us today.
As long as we continue this Christian journey and traverse life, we will encounter many challenges and face adversity, but, we are not alone. In every situation and circumstance, Jesus is with us. In our troubles, Jesus is the one who keeps us from feeling the full effects of distressing circumstances. We may at times feel bewildered by complications, and anxious about what decision to make or decisions that we’ve already made.
As Jesus is Lord of our lives, we need not despair, He is with us. We might be persecuted in the workplace and feel alone, but, not alone because Jesus promised to be with us always. In lonely situations it is easy for doubt to creep in and create distraction. But remember Jesus’ encouragement to His disciples “And Jesus came and spake to them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Mat 28:18 KJVLite) encourage yourself with these words as He is right there, and He watches over you. Give Him thanks. Amen.
