Share Jesus Christ
So life is filled with complexities. We were born with a sinful nature (Psa 51:5) so we are naturally sinful and this fact can be hard for humans to swallow. But Jehovah God being gracious, treats us with love and compassion. It is this quality of love and compassion that we, you and I, are to carry into our relationships.
Peter says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2Pet 3:9 KJVLite). God’s love is such that He has given us grace to allow as many people as possible to receive salvation, through Christ Jesus.
Some will hear, and some won’t.
Friends, even good friends leave, some move away and we lose touch but we don’t forget their love and kindnesses. Sometimes, relationships break down where communication becomes strained or there is no contact at all. Others leave because they die, and we are often left with grief and sadness. But, here’s a distinction, our friends who died in Christ, are safe from the destruction that is yet to be fulfilled. Sadly, however, our friends who denied Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour are not safe from the destruction that will come. Not everyone you talk to will want to listen to you, some will, and some won’t.
What to do?
You can be a witness for Christ Jesus right where you live, in other areas local to you, and where possible, even further afield. Share your testimony of what Jesus has done for you. Share how your life has changed, how the Word of God strengthens you, and enlightens you.
You can talk about how the Lord has helped you get over things, the difficult stuff in your life. Share the practical ways in which the Word of God guides you to live a godly life with purpose, and how much happier you are because of God’s peace. Your testimonies are unique to you, they are facts of your life. So, you can boldly share with confidence because Christ Jesus has saved you from sin and destruction.
So, let’s take advantage of this grace to tell our friends that Jesus loves them. Tell your friends about Jesus’ sacrifice for our sin. If you love your friends, lead them to Christ Jesus, ‘Saviour’ of the world. He will help with life’s complexities.
Jesus loves you. Read: Matthew 11:28-30)
Be blessed, until next time.
