O Lord, my God in heaven, mighty is thy power to save. My prayer, O God, is that You would please order my steps in Your Word (Psa 119:133). Cause Thy Word to be the source of my life, to be the action that I take, to be my first port of call, to be what I depend upon, to be my strength, my life, my spirit, my care. Anoint my speech that I will find joy and rejoicing, in thy presence and in the presence of my brethren, not just for me but for all Your servants, that they, through Your Word would come to know You, have knowledge of You, have a meaningful relationship with You, and those that have knowledge of You, fortify them.

Strengthen the church in the world. Cause the church to influence the world, O my GOD, only by the preaching of Your Word, forgive O God, restore, deliver, heal, cleanse by thy Word, O God. According to thy Word, break us, shape us and make us, my Lord, for thou art the potter and we are the clay. “Hear my cry, O Lord, attend to my prayer from the ends of the earth will I cry unto thee”, this poor man cried and You, O my God, You heard my cry and You answered. You lifted me out into safety in the name of Christ my Saviour, and not one of my bones are broken. Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord, thank You for Your hand in my life and the lives of my brothers and sisters. Thank You for Your goodness and mercy they follow after us day after day, not leaving us alone, pursuing us, guiding us, protecting us and being a help to us even when we were not deserving. Thank You Lord, for I am grateful. Cause me, O Lord, to give You my all.

O King of kings do no less for my brethren Your servants: children, wives, mothers, husbands, fathers, and siblings, cover them under the blood. Protect them from being taken captive according to thy tender mercy and loving kindness. Help us, Lord, in such a time as this to serve You whole heartedly without doubt so that we walk holy before You, in love, and in peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
