Look To Jesus
A Psalm of David. “Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up” (Psa 5:1-3 KJVLite). Let us pray and look up. Look to Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. Who looking forward to the joy ahead, laid down His life for us and is now set down at the right hand of the Father (Heb 12:2).
At the right hand of the Father is where we must aim to be, to receive the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phi 3:14). Let us do all that we can to remain faithful to our Father, who us faithful to us. Let us do everything possible to love and support each other in Christ. “For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds” (Heb 12:3 KJVLite).
This scripture encourages us to think about what Jesus endured on our behalf. It will help us to stay focused, not become wearied, and troubled when things get tough. Let us continue in prayer, and make supplication with thanksgiving for all the saints, giving thanks unto God for the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
