What is most important? Is it the fact that sin occurred – a person sinned OR that they need healing?

James says, “the prayer of faith  shall save the sick” (Jam 5:15). Get that, shall ‘save’ the sick….  There’s no inference of judgement. We are to pray in faith for those who are sick. Nothing in that statement asks us to find out who sinned. We are not required to seek out and judge anyone. Simply pray.

What is most important? The scripture continues thus, ” and the Lord shall raise him up.” Not you or I, the Lord, shall raise him up.

Moreover, “If he had committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” Praise the Lord for His forgiveness!

Now that we know what is most  important, let’s get right on and do it, and continue in it. Let’s not just be hearers, and readers only but doers of the Word.

Live righteously and godly, pray effectual fervent prayers as those prayers will be heard and answered. Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Keep on praying that the sick may be healed, and those needing salvation will be saved.

Thank God for Jesus Christ. Amen.
