Greetings to my Brethren and Friends, in Christ Jesus. Glory to the all-knowing God of creation. Amen.

As a young man growing up, I used to hear the elders talking. And in times of need and distress, they would say “The Lord will provide.” At those times I thought it was just a statement, something elders said. To me it wasn’t based on any truths; it was just a saying. I still hear that statement today, ‘God will provide’ or “The Lord will provide.” But, now it rings true. As a mature man I know God for myself and am a witness that the Lord provides. Thanks be to God, I now know that it is, and must be a declaration of confidence and faith in God to be who He is, and that He will be true to us. Hallelujah and all Glory to God! I have my own testimony.

As Abraham was on his way to give up his only son as a sacrifice to God. Isaac his son said father, here is the wood but where is the sacrifice? Abraham confidently said ‘God will provide’ (Gen 22:8) Abraham was prepared to offer up his only son as a sacrifice to God but angel called out to him not to lay his hand on the lad. And, in that same moment Abraham saw that God had provided a sacrifice, a ram caught in a thicket.

When the brook dried up it was God who sent ELIJAH to the widow of Zarephath for the miracle of provision. So we can now truly say “God will provide.” (1Kings 17:7-16). When the widow’s son got sick and died, it was God who sent the spirit of resurrection which empowered ELIJAH to resurrect her son (1Kings 17:17-24).

My beloved brethren be confident in the Lord to provide for you today, tomorrow and in the future whether it be resurrection, healing, finance or food, God will provide in Jesus’ name. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that your faith will grow exponentially as you continue to serve the Lord. I pray that your trust and confidence in Jehovah God will shine through in every area of your life. As we serve The God who never fails. Amen.
