Galatians 1:11-16
Paul (formerly called Saul before the Lord changed his name to Paul) was called by God to preach the Gospel. It makes complete sense that if God called Paul to preach then God would empower him by His Spirit as to what he should preach. God reveals himself in Paul on the Damascus road, Acts 9:5. We read that as Paul was knocked down, and some of us have to experience a knock down because we persecute the church. Paul asked who are you Lord? (revelation). 

How could you identify someone as being Lord without first having knowledge of them? (God) This revelation tells me that the scales had fallen from Paul’s heart that Christ may be revealed not to him, but in him. For greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Paul was given the truth of Christ the Word of God that does not return void to speak to His people, a Word of Spirit and Life. 

Father, let there be a pouring out of the written, spoken, and exalted Word in Your people that Your truth will be imparted to all people in Jesus’ holy name. Amen and Amen.
