Father God, we give all the glory unto the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
As Christian disciples of Christ Jesus the Messiah, don’t be alarmed if people take a strong disliking to you or hate you. The Jews, scribes and pharisees hated Jesus and wanted to kill Him. Jesus did no wrong. It was impossible for the son of God to go against the will of His Father’s. When the world’s sin weighed heavy on Jesus He prayed to His Father…. “Not my will but thy will be done.” (Luk 22:42). Whilst under the influence and control of our enemy satan, sinners will hate and set out to destroy anyone who doesn’t agree with or look like them. Steven, James and John were killed for speaking the truth of God.
While some people will accept the the gospel of Jesus Christ, there are many people who do not want to hear the preaching of the Word of God. So, street preachers are arrested for preaching the Word of God. With this in mind, take note of the times (2Tim 3:1-5). Whilst great opposition remains outside the church walls, it is imperative that the pure Word of God is preached to equip the body of Christ to live blameless in this present world.
I pray that we hold onto Jesus’ promise never to leave nor forsake us (Heb 13:5-6). Knowing that we are never alone, I declare that we will be bold, courageous, strong, and obedient to the will of our Father in heaven, holy and blameless (Eph 1:4). I pray that we all continue in the faith of Jesus Christ, spread the joy of the Lord, preach, teach, disciple, and share the love of Christ. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
